Retreat Highlights
Mixed Yoga: martial arts-inspired, dance inspired, mixed with other body movement and practices. All levels welcome.

Your Hosts
Zouheir AlGhreiwati
Zouheir hails from Damascus, Syria. He has worked at start-ups, venture capital funds, and Big four consulting firms. His passion of using business skills to build community and create tangible impact led him to grow small and medium social enterprises throughout Central America. Zouheir is now dedicating his time to Tierras del Sham, a project he founded and gathered amazing staff for, out of a desire to see a truly multicultural and locally-focused education project.
Zouheir decided to base TDS in Colombia, a country that has had many cultural exchange with Syria throughout history. Zouheir works on finding new local Colombian producers and suppliers for food, staff and materials at TDS, working on making the project as beneficial for local and indigenous communities as possible. He is also leading the development of educational curriculum based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Zouheir also works on establishing partnerships with artisans and local farmers collectives, along with putting together Tierras del Sham first festivals together.
Soizic Loup
Hi there!
I’ve also more recently discovered that ‘spirituality’ cannot be all serious and hard work - it’s also creativity, play,
and relationships. I’m dedicated to being absolutely merciless in evaluating the pitfalls on the path, but also to creating experiences that allow us to be in touch with pleasure, community and the spirit world - I’m especially passionate about helping others to establish a deep connection with their body, their Helping Guides, and their purpose. dance
The body is to me, our oldest allies - it's been 2 million years in the making after all, which is one of the many reasons all healing journeys I put together have such an emphasis on Chinese Medicine, movement and breathing practices. I’ve trained as a yoga teacher for over six months, with teachers from all over the world, and then proceeded to do the same for my health coach and Reiki certifications. I met Zouheir in Panama, and we worked together on delivering Community Wellness and Social Entrepreneurship programs that were truly all-encompassing and challenged people to think about their privilege, prejudices, and potential.
From there, Zouheir moved to Colombia to start his amazing Tierras del Sham project as I’m myself progressing in this journey as a queer, mixed, but also a privileged practitioner.

Full Payment Due: July 31st, 2019 (Payment plans are available) * Please also note that room options are limited, and are all done on a first come first served basis.
TERMS & CONDITIONS: Prices listed are per person in US dollars and include a non-returnable 25% deposit after July 1st.
CANCELLATION POLICY: Should you need to cancel your trip please inform us in writing using our email address. If cancellation takes place more than 60 days prior to the start date of the retreat we will refund the total payment minus the deposit. If the cancellation is up to 30 days prior to the start date then we will refund the total payment minus 25% paid and minus the deposit. Any later than this and there will be no refund due to the cost incurred unless we are able to fill your place.
